Jetty Knock and the associated logistics facilities (“Port Knock”) of EMO are very strategically located for offshore wind farms in the DolWin and BorWin clusters, ca. 15 kilometres / 8 nautical miles from Emden Lock and directly on the main waterway the Ems. The feeder offers berths for vessels up to 130 metres in length as well as for CTVs. All berths offer the possibility of taking on fresh water as well as a connection to shore-side electricity. The jetty is designed for heavy loads and offers ideal possibilities for cargo handling or crew transfer. 5,000 square metres of logistics facilities as well as 2.8 hectares of industrial land in the hinterland offer plenty of room for projects of all kinds.
Your interface to the North Sea and offshore hub Eemshaven
The jetty enables people to be transferred quickly and safely from and to vessels lying on anchorage or from and to Dutch Eemshaven, which is just 10 miles away. Port Knock is approved as a border point for EU citizens and therefore offers itself as an alternative place for crew changes.
